Summary:

I’m Rhett. I’m a 20yo from Austin, TX. I founded a $3m bike park in high school and a $200k/mo e-comm clothing business. However, these businesses are simply a stepping stone for my true passion and purpose in developing countries. 

The mission I’m chasing: With extreme entrepreneurial ambition, how can I maximize the amount of good I add to the world? 

More Details:

Station Mountain: I previously founded a bike park in high school, where I secured $2.8m in real estate and $350k in capital (mainly by cold sending my pitch deck to hundreds of potential investors online). I hired and managed a full-time 10-person construction team. I ran the bike park for 2 years, but it wasn’t profitable enough to justify $3.15m of investment, so I’m now selling it for $3.9m.



Cased: Currently, I run Cased, a Shopify e-comm business that sells protective clothing for action sports. My cofounder and I have scaled it from $0 to $200k/mo in 8 months.

Luck: I’m already lucky and extremely thankful to have been born in a first world country to supportive parents. I’m absurdly lucky to have met Joe Liemandt – his mentorship completely unlocked my ambition.

Other Things: I invested in 3 businesses in Malawi, interviewed refugees across several African countries, solo-traveled across Africa, built a small bike park for SpaceX and raised $12k for GiveWell from it, was in the founding class of Alpha School and UATX, went to Network School in Singapore, made a few YouTube videos on geopolitics, have a side interest in alternative education, learned to draw the world map from memory, and am a follower of Christ.
